Ghazwa-e-Hind (Arabic: غزوة الهند‎) or the battle of India is an Islamic term mentioned in some hadiths in particular[1] predicting a battle in India and as a result, a conquest of 'India' by Muslim warriors.[2][3][4][5] The term has recently become a subject of vast criticism in media for being used by militant groups to justify their activities in the Indian subcontinent.[6][7][8][9][10][11]
