Bhortek is a village in Shirpur tehsil in Dhule district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 21 kilometres (13 mi) from sub district headquarter and 50 kilometres (31 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India).[1]


Demography[edit]

As of 2009, The village has a total number of 342 houses and a population of 1400 of which 734 are males while 666 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 152 people are from Schedule Caste and 211 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
