It is also known for best weather to live in maharashtra.

As of 2009, The village has a total number of 779 houses and a population of 3762 of which 1910 are males while 1852 are females. According to the report [[published]] by [[Census India]] in 2011, out of the total population of the village 138 people are from [[Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes|Schedule Caste]] and 965 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.<ref name="census" />
