Sundarapandiyapuram is home to three important temples. The Sri Meenakshi Sundareshwarar temple dates back to the early 19th century.
However, the Rukmani Sathyabama Sameda Sri Rajagopala Swamy temple is said to be the oldest place of worship in the town. The idol of the deity, Raja Gopala. The third temple, the Sri Mupadathi Amman temple.
