'''Deepak Kumar''' (1 April 1946–26 January 2016) was an Indian [[condensed matter physicist]] and a professor at the School of Physical Sciences of [[Jawaharlal Nehru University]]. Known for his research on [[quantum mechanic]]s and other areas of condensed matter physics, Kumar was an elected fellow of the [[Indian Academy of Sciences]].
