Ramachandra Raju is an Indian flim actor who rose to fame for his role as the antagonist in the film K.G.F: Chapter 1 (2018) and its sequel 'K.G.F: Chapter 2 (2021).
Career
Raju made his film debut K.G.F: Chapter 1 (2018). He played the antagonist in the film and garnered acclaim for his portrayal of Garuda. His role in the film enabled him to get offers in several other Tamil and Kannada-language films. Raju is set to play the villain in Sulthan directed by Bakkiyaraj Kannan, an untitled film starring Vetri and directed by debutante Guru Ramanujam, Jana Gana Mana directed by I. Ahmed, a film titled Bumper starring Danveerah and directed by Hari Santhosh, a film with Sivakarthikeyan that has been tentatively titled SK17, an untitled film with Vijay Antony, and an untitled film with Vimal.[1][2][3][4][5][6] He will seen reprising his role as Garuda in K.G.F: Chapter 2.[7] He is reportedly in talks about playing a lead role in the upcoming Malayalam movie ‘Sthambam 2’. The film will be directed by Satheesh Paul under the script penned by Paul Brothers. The shooting of the film is said to start by the third week of December 2021 in Pala, Kottayam. It will be the first time Ramachandra will be helming a major role in a Malayalam film.
