Konganapuram is a panchayat town in Salem district in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu.
Geography
Konganapuram is located at 11°35′N 77°55′E / 11.58°N 77.92°E.[1] It has an average elevation of 300 metres (1000 feet).
Demographics
As of 2001[update] India census,[2] Konganapuram had a population of 8086. Males constitute 53% of the population and females 47%. Konganapuram has an average literacy rate of 61%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 71%, and female literacy is 49%. In Konganapuram, 10% of the population is under 6 years of age.
