Balapur is a village in Dhule district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 7 kilometres (4.3 mi) from sub district headquarter and 7 kilometres (4.3 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India). [1]

As of 2009, The village has a total number of 931 houses and a population of 4210 of which 2206 are males while 2004 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 202 people are from Schedule Caste and 607 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
