Early life and education

Bhumidhar Barman was born on 12 October 1931 to the late Bhakat Ram Barman and the late Mathupriya Barman in Belsor.[6] He passed his matriculation from Tihu High School in 1951.[7] His Father, Late Bhakat Ram Barman was a well established businessman of his area. He completed his schooling Tihu High school , thereafter at Cotton Collage and finally his MBBS degree from Assam Medical Collage.
