Kattanam(കറ്റാനം)[1] is a village located in Central Travancore, Alappuzha district in the Indian state of Kerala.[2] Kattanam is about 7 Km east of Kayamkulam, 10 Km South of Mavelikkara and 22 Km West of Adoor. Kattanam Junction is the one of the main Junctions in the SH - 5 (Kayamkulam - Punalur Road). Kattanam celebrates a lot of Cultural, Religious and Non-Religious festivals and programmes every year.
