The "Ebudhou Thangjing Temple" (Meitei: ꯏꯕꯨꯙꯧ ꯊꯥꯡꯖꯤꯡ ꯂꯥꯢꯁꯪ, romanized: ee-boo-dhou thaang-jing laai-shang, Old Manipuri: ꯏꯄꯨꯊꯧ ꯊꯥꯡꯆꯤꯡ ꯂꯥꯢꯁꯪ, romanized: ee-poo-thou thaang-ching laai-shang) is an ancient temple dedicated to Thangching, the presiding deity in Ancient Moirang, a Southern province in Ancient Manipur. It is in the present day Moirang in Bishnupur district of Manipur.[1][2][3][4][5] The millennium old legends of the Khamba Thoibi has its roots connected to the sacred temple. Legend says that the famous dance form of Khamba Thoibi Jagoi was first performed in the temple, by Khuman Khamba and Moirang Thoibi as a part of the Lai Haraoba festival.[6][7][8]
