Seth M.R. Jaipuria School, Patna, otherwise known as the Jaipuria School Patna is a co-educational institution imparting Secondary education through English as the medium of instruction. In 2020, the school was awarded the 2nd. best co-ed school in Bihar by Education World Magazine.[1][2] It is affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE)[3] and is managed by R. N. Dwivedi Foundation.
History
The school draws its name from Padmabhushan recipient,[4] Seth Mungtu Ram Jaipuria, a philanthropist and industrialist who played a dominant role in the industrialisation of the nation after independence. Founded by his son, Sharad Jaipuria in 1992.[5]
Organization
Sanjay Ranjan, is the Chairman of the school and Anupam Singh is the director. The management of the school comes under the purview of Integral Education Society, Kanpur. Another institution managed by the Integral Education society is Jaipuria Institute of Management and this functions on the same campus. The current principal of the school is Poonam Kumari.[6]
