Gangapur is a village in Akkalkuwa in Nandurbar district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 27 kilometres (17 mi) from sub district headquarter and 50 kilometres (31 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India).[1] As of 2009, The village has a total number of 324 houses and the population of 1420 of which 678 are males while 742 are females.[1]
