Korit is a village in Nandurbar district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 20 kilometres (12 mi) from sub district headquarter and 20 kilometres (12 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India). [1]

As of 2009, The village has a total number of 500 houses and a population of 2385 of which 1196 are males while 1189 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 57 people are from Schedule Caste and 1325 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
