Rao in July 2015

R. Vidyasagar Rao (14 November 1939 – 29 April 2017) was an Indian government administrator and engineer. He was the Chief Engineer (Retired) of the Ministry of Water Resources' Central Water Commission, as well as the Advisor on Irrigation to the Government of Telangana. He was born in Jajireddygudem, Telangana.

Rao died on 29 April in 2017 in Hyderabad, Telangana from bladder cancer, aged 77.[1]
