Abhishek Agarwal is the elder son of Shri Tej Narayan Agarwal who previously owned a textile and pearls business. His grandfather Seth Jagdish Pershad Motiwale was honoured with the title “King of Pearl” by the Bombay Pearl Importers Association. He did his schooling in All Saint's High School at Hyderabad. He completed his PUC from St. Mary's Junior College. He did his graduate studies at St. Mary's College in 2002.
