Ongole district was created in 1970 with three revenue divisions of Kurnool, Guntur and Nellore districts. Peddaraveedu is a village in Prakasam district of the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. It is a gram panchayat and the mandal headquarters of Peddaraveedu mandal in Markapur revenue division.[1][2]
