Parchur or Parchuru is a town and an Assembly constituency in Bapatla district of Andhra Pradesh, India. It is also the mandal headquarters of Parchur mandal in Chirala revenue division.[1]

As per Gazettee No. 939, dated the 26 January 2022, the old Guntur district, formed in 1904, was split into Guntur district, Palnadu district and Bapatla district. 12 madals from Tenali revenue division and 13 mandals from Prakasam district was merged into the newly formed Bapatla district.[2]

Parchur is located at 15°58′00″N 80°16′00″E / 15.9667°N 80.2667°E.
According to the 2011 Census of India, the total population of Parchur was then 13,379, of which 6,628 were male and 6,751 were female.
TransportEdit
Guntur-Parchur Road connects the village with Guntur and Ongole.[3]
