| Virks are Suryavanshi Rajputs and they are mentioned in Mahabharata as “Vrika Rajputs” or “Vrika Raja-putra” means “Son of King” or “Son of Warrior” or famoulsy known as “Son of Wolfs”. Vrikas are regarded as “Kshatriyas” or a “Warriors” in “Mahabharta” and they are brethren of Minhas Rajputs. Hence many people write their surnames as “Minhas-Virk”.
