Rohit Bal is an Indian fashion designer. He designs for both men and women.

Early life[edit]

Rohit Bal was born in the city of Srinagar in the Kashmir Valley of the Jammu and Kashmir state of India on 8th May, 1961 into a Kashmiri Pandit family. He graduated from Woodlands House School and then Burn Hall School in Srinagar before having to move to New Delhi with his family for being a Kashmiri Hindu during the Insurgency in Jammu and Kashmir and attending Delhi Public School, Mathura Road. Bal then received his Bachelor's degree in History from St. Stephens College, University of Delhi.[1] He went on to study fashion at the National Institute of Fashion Technology in Delhi.[2]
