Lamkani is a village in Dhule district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 42 kilometres (26 mi) from sub district headquarter and 42 kilometres (26 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India). [1]

As of 2009, the village has a total number of 1399 houses and a population of 6981 of which 3649 are males while 3332 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 380 people are from Schedule Caste and 1171 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
