Meer Akhtar Hussain came into this world on December 31, 1972, as the child of Meer Munshi Hussain in [[Makum]]. He pursued his studies at [[Tinsukia College]] and started his political journey in [[Makum]], where he became a part of the [[Indian Youth Congress]].
