On 12 April 2021, the office of Andaman Law College issued a circular under the signature of Principal (Andaman Law College) instructing male and female students to sit separately. However before the issuing of circular the faculty verbally instructed all the male and female student to sit separately under the oral order of the Principal Mr. M.S. Soundara Pandian. On the spot some students in that session vocally opposed his instruction. After this incident, the college issued the above mentioned circular. One of the nationally circulating magazine "Live Wire" covered discriminatory act of [[Andaman Law College|Andaman Law College Administration]] and termed this act as '''"Pandemic Sexism"'''. A Student said to Live Wire Team that :
<blockquote>'''''″I can’t believe we are being asked to follow such a rule in the 21st century, in 2021, and that too in a law college – all in the middle of a pandemic when we should have been thinking about other issues″'''''</blockquote>
As these kind of non-constitutional act is unexpectable and also unacceptable by an institution of Law. This kind of Decision is against Students Liberty.<ref>https://livewire.thewire.in/campus/andaman-law-college-gender-segregation-covid-19/</ref>
