The 37-year-old MP won with a record margin of 294,739 votes, the highest ever in the Churu constituency, thereby getting the rank of 6th highest margin winner, out of 25 seats in [[Rajasthan]]. He was pitted against Congress' first-timer Pratap Punia in the Churu Lok Sabha constituency. He is the son of Shri [[Ram Singh Kaswan]], party's sitting MP from [[Churu district|Churu]], Rajasthan. Rahul Kaswan (born 20 January 1977)[1] is an Indian politician. A member of the Indian National Congress, he serves as Member of Parliament, Lok Sabha from Churu. Previously, he was also elected to the Lok Sabha in 2014 and 2019 general elections as a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party.[2]

Early life[edit | edit source]

He was born to Ram Singh Kaswan, a former MP from Churu and his grandfather Deep Chand Kaswan served as an MLA from Sadulpur.[2]

Political career[edit | edit source]

Kaswan has been elected to the Lok Sabha in 2014, 2019, and again in 2024. He is a member of the Indian National Congress.[3]
