Avaneeswaram S. R. Vinu was born on 10th June 1973 in Trivandrum .[2] He hails from a musically inclined family.

Musical career[edit | edit source]

Vinu has performed with many leading musicians including Padmavibhushan Dr. M. Balamuralikrishna,[3] Madurai T. N. Seshagopalan, Aswathi Thirunal Rama Varma,[4][5] Sanjay Subrahmanyan, T. V. Sankaranarayanan, Dr.N. Ramani, T. K. Govindarao,Neyyattinkara Vasudevan,Dr. K. J. Yesudas, P. Unni Krishnan[6]

He has performed in various prestigious music festivals including the Sacred Music Festival in France, the Sydney music festival and the Swathi music festival held in Trivandrum(India). Vinu has also performed in countries like United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, France, Germany, Sweden, Denmark, Singapore, Malaysia, Japan, UAE, Botswana and Qatar.[7]
