Contests in most years were multi cornered but only winners and runners are being mentioned. Narendra Kumar Singh, Independent, defeated Abhay Kumar Singh of Congress in Bihar Assembly Election, [[Bihar Assembly Election, Feb 2005|October 2005]] and Rajendra Rajan of [[Communist Party of India|CPI]] in [[Bihar Assembly Election, Feb 2005|February 2005]].
