Kankalamal is a village in Akkalkuwa in Nandurbar district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 18 kilometres (11 mi) from sub district headquarter and 63 kilometres (39 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India).[1]


Demography[edit]

As of 2009, The village has a total number of 288 houses and a population of 1725 of which 896 are males while 829 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 0 people are from Schedule Caste and 1722 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
