Bikapur is a town, tehsil and nagar panchayat of Faizabad district (officially Ayodhya district) of Uttar Pradesh state in India. Bikapur is 25 km south of the district headquarters Ayodhya city.[1][2]

There are two rivers passes near Bikapur are Ghaghra locally name as Saryu, Ayodhya and Gomti, Sultanpur.[citation needed]

The Indian railway network connects Faizabad, Ayodhya, Sultanpur, Pratapgarh and Allahabad with Bikapur. Faizabad Junction,[7] Ayodhya Junction,[8] Goshainganj,[9] Bharatkund,[10] Chaure Bazar,[11] Rudauli,[12] Kurebhar,[13] Sultanpur Junction[14] are the nearby railway stations from Bikapur, Ayodhya.

By Road[edit | edit source]

Bikapur is on the NH 330 and therefore has good road connectivity with Faizabad, Ayodhya, Sultanpur, Pratapgarh and Prayagraj using the NH 330. Bikapur is also well connected by road with nearby towns Bhadarsa, Masodha, Sohawal, Raunahi, Tarun Bazaar, Haiderganj, Goshainganj, Mehbubganj, Chaure Bazar, Rudauli, Milkipur and Kumarganj.
