Darkhel is a village in Sakri tehsil in Dhule district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 18 kilometres (11 mi) from sub district headquarter and 91 kilometres (57 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India). [1]
Demography
As of 2009, The village has a total number of 148 houses and a population of 636 of which 332 are males while 304 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 41 people are from Schedule Caste and 138 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
