Navdeepak Singh Chahal (born 11 November 1978), commonly known as Gavie Chahal, is an Indian actor from Mansa, Punjab.[1] He is known for his Hindi film debut in Yash Raj's 2012 film Ek Tha Tiger.[2] He also featured in notable Punjabi films including ‘’ Pinki Moge Wali ‘’, ‘’ Paisa pyaar and panga ‘’, Yaaran Naal Baharan, Mehendi Wale Hath, Tere Ishq Nachaya and many more .

He was born in Mansa, Punjab to the Punjabi Jat Sikh family. He spent his early years in his hometown, Mansa, and later moved to Patiala. For pursuing further studies as a mechanical engineer, he took admission at government polytechnic Batala (1994 - 1997) batch. Chahal received offers for modelling and Punjabi music industry, which offered him a chance to work in music videos of leading singers. He also had worked in the Punjab Police.
