Kuzhimathicadu is a small and peaceful village near kundara where people belong to different religions live together in good harmony. Located 2 kilometers south of Aarumurikkada, Kuzhimathicadu is the Downtown for nearby places like Saippumukku, Chekkala Mukku, Edi Mukku, Amachan Mukku, Plamoodu, Churula.The first Higher Secondary school for science in kollam district started functioning at Kuzhimathicadu in the year 1990 as an upgradation of the existing secondary school.Kuzhimathicadu Sreekrishna Swami temple is an ancient one and owned by kaduthanathu Valliya Madom of Kuzhimathicadu.Chirakkadavu Devi temple is also located 1 km far away from Kuzhimathicadu. The other landmarks are Thanima Auditorium & Lekshmi Hospital.Kuzhimathicadu Ward is in Kareepra Panchayath.
