Faisal began his domestic career for Mumbai, playing two first-class matches during the [[1997–98 Ranji Trophy]]. He returned to the national level in 2002, representing Goa. Early life

Shaikh was born and brought up in Bandra, a suburb of Mumbai. He graduated with Bachelor of Commerce degree.[9][10]

Controversy

Shaikh began to record videos on Dubsmash while studying at college. He later moved to musical.ly, which became TikTok.[11]

In July 2019, Shaikh was banned by TikTok, after he appeared in videos denouncing the 2019 Jharkhand mob lynching. His comments were interpreted as inciting violence.[12][13][14]

After TikTok was banned in India in June 2020, Shaikh moved to Instagram, where he was reported to has gained lots of new followers in the week following the ban.[15]
