Error creating thumbnail: File missing Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Bharatpedia.

When editing an article on Bharatpedia, you will see a small field labeled "Edit summary" shown under the main edit box. It looks like this:

Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.

Edit summary content is visible in:

• User contributions
• Recent changes
• Watchlists
• Revision diffs
• IRC channels
• Related changes
• New pages list
• Article editing history

Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. With a Bharatpedia account you can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary. Thanks!

Usage:

{{subst:Uw-editsummary|Article}} references a specific article

{{subst:Uw-editsummary|Article|Additional text}} adds text onto the end of the message instead of "Thank you"

{{subst:Uw-editsummary||Additional text}} or {{subst:Uw-editsummary|2=Additional text}} also adds text onto the end of the message instead of "Thank you", but doesn't link a page as specified by the article

Use "1=" if the article contains an equals sign and use "2=" if the additional text contains an equals sign (such as a URL).
• This template automatically populates the relevant category with the user page. If and when the user account gets blocked, or approximately eight weeks pass with no further action, that categorization is automatically removed.
