Manushya Mrugam is a 1980 Indian Malayalam film, directed by Baby and produced by Thiruppathi Chettiyar. The film stars Jayan (double role), Jayaprabha, Seema, Jagathy Sreekumar, Kaviyoor Ponnamma and Jose Prakash in the lead roles. The film has musical score by K. J. Joy. The movie collected well .[1][2][3] The movie is a remake of 1975 Kannada movie Daari Tappida Maga starring Rajkumar in dual roles.

The film was released on 17 Decemberber 1980. Due to Jayan' s unfortunate demise before the release, many of the Jayans dialogues in the movie had to be dubbed by mimicry artists.

Box office[edit]

The film was commercial success.[4][5]

Soundtrack[edit]

The music was composed by K. J. Joy and the lyrics were written by Pappanamkodu Lakshmanan. All songs were chartbusters, especially the song "Kasthoori Manmizhi", sung by K. J. Yesudas.
