Tanmay Mohanty, known professionally as Babushan Mohanty is an Indian film actor,[1][2][3] and playback singer, known primarily for his work in Odia-language cinema.

Early life
He is the only son of actors Uttam Mohanty and Aparajita Mohanty. His real name is Tanmay Mohanty and nickname is Babu. He took 'Babushan' as his stage name. He did his schooling from DAV Public School, Unit - VIII, of Bhubaneswar. His wife Trupti Satapathy delivered her first child, a baby boy on 6th April 2021.[4]
2009–2016: Debut and breakthrough
Babushan is a trained classical singer. His first film was Romeo – The Lover Boy which was directed by Hara Patnaik and produced by Brajaraj Movies.
