Waldia or valdiya is a prominent Rajput clan in the kumaon region of Uttarakhand Waldia are one of the notable caste within the Rajput community, known for their rich history and culture heritage.

Waldia got the title chief thokdar (thokdar of thokdars) by Chand kings .
