The Cradle is a 2023 Indian horror short film, Written by Navin Noronha and Abhi Tundel and directed by Abhi Tundel, It stars Siddesh Pednekar and Srishti Srivastava. The film focuses on a young family, where the father finds himself highly engrossed in his work and the mother trying to keep the baby entertained in the other room. [1]

Jay's demanding job requires him to put in long hours, leaving him often engrossed in work even when he's at home. Struggling to strike a balance between his professional responsibilities and family life, he finds it challenging to be fully present for his Toddler. On a particularly hectic day, Jay catches a heartwarming sight of his wife, Lucy, gently putting their adorable toddler to sleep. However, just as he begins to smile, an unexpected doorbell changes everything.[2]

This is Abhi Tundel's fourth film.[3] Tundel Shot this film on a shoestring budget and in 6 hours' time. When Tundel was in the second semester of film school, he wrote a horror film script that the school refused to let him shoot. Post Graduation, knowing he could do whatever he wanted without worrying about censorship Tundel decided to pursue his vision independently. [4]
