OfficeKit HR is an end-to-end human resource management software which enables HR teams to manage everything from employee hiring and leave management to employee management and administration with an applicant tracking system, global payroll and compliance, attendance management tools. It was developed by M2H Infotech LLP a software product company, based out in Kerala with offices in Dubai, The United States and Australia.[1]
The software was founded in 2016 by Mohammed Faizan Lanka and Haris P T.[2] In November 2020, OfficeKit raised $1 million in a seed funding round from the US based Expert DOJO Venture Fund II LLC under Kerala Startup Mission's monthly Investor Café programme. Prior to the latest capital infusion, they raised $500,000 from various angel investors.[3] It has a customer base of 20 customers including UAE-based Lulu Group, across more than 15 countries, with over 18,000 employees managed through its platform.[4][5][6]
The primary goal of the organization is to provide a complete solution under one umbrella making HR department activities more seamless and efficient. The software lets the HR department save all the employee data and automate all the administration process like leave, payroll, on boarding and exit of an employee. The stored data is used to predict the future of the organization, analyses the performance of the employee, decrease the turnover etc. The software Officekit HR let the HR department focus on the strategy for the employee development by automating the administrative path. With the employee data, the HR team can focus on the HR functions like engaging employee on the job, up skilling the employees and also training, so that they would understand the outcome and the issues with this data and can do accordingly to improve the employee performance. When the employee performance is increased then the turnover of the employee will decrease which in turn will save the cost used for the recruitment and on boarding process. The automation of the HR system helps keep everything working properly with zero error.
