Rhododendron niveum

The Sikkimese Rhododendron or the Snowy Rhododendron (Rhododendron niveum) is a Rhododendron species.[1] It is native to northeastern India (including Sikkim), Bhutan, and southern Tibet. It grows at altitudes of 2600–3500 meters.

It is a shrub or small tree that grows to 2–6 m in height, with leathery leaves 8.5–11 by 3.6–4.6 cm in size. Flowers are magenta to lilac.[2]
