Nongshaba
(Redirected from Kanglasha)
Kanglasha (Old Manipuri: ꯀꯪꯂꯥꯁꯥ, romanized: kang-laa-shaa) or Nongshaba (Meitei: ꯅꯣꯡꯁꯥꯕ, romanized: nong-shaa-ba) is a primordial dragon lion in Meitei mythology and religion. He is the son of Atingkok, the supreme creator God of the universe.[1][2][3] A pair of the gigantic concrete statues are still standing in front of the inner ear entrance gate to the sacred city of the Kangla in Imphal.[4]
