FormationEdit
A Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) is constituted when a motion is adopted by one house of Parliament and is subsequently supported or agreed upon by the other house.
Alternatively, a JPC can also be formed when the two presiding officers of both houses communicate with each other and mutually agree to establish the committee. This collaborative process ensures that both houses are involved in addressing specific issues or legislative matters.
