The 'Laikhuta' (main pillar), known as the "Tulsi Khuta". Although not made from the holy basil plant (tulsi), the pillar is symbolically dedicated to it, highlighting the sacred role of Tulsi in the Vaishnavite tradition. LAIKHUTA (WOODEN PILLAR) (1743-1760 Saka year) DURING THE RULE OF AHOM KING CHANDRAKANTA SINGHA THE TENTH SATRADHIKAR SRI SRI KUSHARAM DEV OF AUNIATI SATRA BECAME UNSTEADY IN BUILDING THE SATRA DUE TO FACING VARIOUS ECONOMIC CRISIS. IN THE MEAN TIME THE SATRADHIKAR HAD SEEN THE DREAM SHOWN BY A MONK, ACCORDINGLY SATRADHIKAR AND HIS DEVOTEES COLLECTED A WOODEN PILLAR FROM THE MIGHTY BRAHMAPUTRA WHICH BROUGHT TO THE SATRA AND INSTALLED AS A PRINCIPAL PILLAR (LAIKHUTA) OF NAMGHAR.অসমীয়া: মাজুলীৰ আউনীআটি সত্ৰত থকা তুলসী গছৰ কাঠ
তুলসী খুঁটা সময় ১৮২১ – ১৮৩৮) শুঁক আহোম স্বৰ্গদেউ চন্দ্ৰকান্ত সিংহৰ দিনত আউনীআটী সত্ৰৰ দশম সত্ৰাধিকাৰ শ্ৰীশ্ৰী কুশদেৱ গোস্বামীয়ে বিভিন্ন সংকটত পৰি সত্ৰ নিৰ্মান কৰা কাৰ্য্যত যেতিয়া অথিৰ অবিৰ হৈ পৰিছিল সেই সময়তে এগৰাকী বিপ্ৰই ৰাতি সপোন দেখুৱা অনুসৰি গোঁসাই ঈশ্বৰে ব্ৰহ্ম পুত্ৰৰ পাৰৰ পৰা ভকত সকলৰ দ্বাৰা সত্ৰলৈ এটি বৃহৎ খুঁটা আনয়ন কৰিছিল। সেই বৃহৎ খুঁটাটিয়েই আছিল পাহাৰী তুলসী খুঁটা। সেই খুঁটা সত্ৰৰ নামঘৰত লাইখুঁটা ৰূপে স্থাপন কৰা হৈছিল। পিছলৈ সত্ৰৰ খুঁটা পকীকৰণ হোৱাত এই খুঁটা সকলোৰে দৰ্শনার্থে সত্ৰৰ মনিকূটৰ কাষত স্থাপন কৰাৰ ব্যৱস্থা কৰা হয়। |
