Summary
Retrieved from [1] and image is a U.S. Government image and within the public domain. Valdez Glacier in the Chugach Mountains, Alaska, U.S. Over the past century the glacier has thinned 300 feet and the unvegetated areas along the glacial margins have been exposed by the thinning and retreating glacier in the during the last 2 decades of the 20th century.
