English: The artist has illustrated the usages and names of each component of the bullock cart and in Punjabi language known as Gadda. This is the unique contribution by the Artist to Punjabi heritage and culture. He felt that the coming generation may not remember the names and usages of these implements, so he collected the the names of each component and marked on the drawing. These implements were used by farmers for transportation in olden days. With the advent of new implements, these are in vogue and no longer in use.
Trilok Singh is only artist who prepared these works for Punjabi Encyclopedia. |
