Description
English: This is one of the folios of Sri Guru Granth Sahib, it is a visual representation of the text written in the Guru Granth Sahib. The painting represents the Universe, divided into twelve petals of a lotus representing twelve zodiac divisions. Ten of these petals are illustrated with the Ten Sikh Gurus and the other two are their origin [ Kashyapa and his Solar dynasty ]. The central circle of the lotus has Sodhi Bhan Singh, the patron, who got this manuscript prepared and he can be see worshipping Mahakala and Mahakali.
