English: The Chaturdasha Temple is a Hindu temple (mandir) situated near Old Agartala, India, and features the Bengal dome patterned after the roofs of village huts in Bengal. The dome is surmounted by a stupa-like structure which reveals traces of Buddhist influence. This temple was built in honour of fourteen deities, together called the Chaturdasha Devata, by King Krishna Manikya Debbarma of Tripura in 1761 and these deities are ceremoniously worshipped during Kharchi Puja. The Kokborok names of the fourteen deities are Lampra, Akhatra, Bikhatra, Burasa, Thumnairok, Bonirok, Sangroma, Mwtaikotor, Twima, Songram, Noksumwtai, Mailuma, Khuluma and Swkalmwtai. the fourteen deities in bengali /hindi are shiva,durga,ganesh,kartick,laxmi,saraswati,vishnu,brahmadev,gangamata,himadri,samudradev,agni,pradumnya(kamdev),prithvimata,and dharma.

চতুর্দশ দেবতার মন্দির ত্রিপুরা রাজ্যের রাজধানী আগরতলা থেকে মাত্র নয় কিমি দূরে পুরাতন আগরতলার নিকটবর্তী একটি হিন্দু মন্দির। এর নির্মান বৈশিষ্ট গ্রামের বাড়ীগুলির ছাদের নকশা এবং বৌদ্ধ স্তাপত্যের মিলিত একটি রূপ।যদিও পুরানো মন্দিরটির নির্মান স্তাপত্য অনেকটাই প্রাচীন ভারতীয় এবং মোঘল স্তাপত্যের ঘরানার। 1761 খ্রিস্টাব্দে ত্রৈরাপুরের রাজা কৃষ্ণ মানিক্য দেববর্মা কর্তৃক চতুর্দশ দেবতার সম্মানে এই মন্দিরটি নির্মিত হয়েছিল, যাকে একত্রিত করে চতুর্দশ দেবতা নামে অভিহিত করা হয় এবং এই দেবতাদের খারচি পূজার সময় আনুষ্ঠানিকভাবে পূজা করা হয়।
বিগ্রহ পরিচয়- শ্রীশ্রী চতুর্দশ দেবতা। চৌদ্দ দেবতা মন্দিরের অষ্ট ধাতুর নির্মিত এই দেবদেবীরা হলেন হর (শঙ্কর), উমা (শঙ্করী), হরি (বিষ্ণু), মা (লক্ষ্মী), বাণী (সরস্বতী), কুমার (কার্ত্তিকেয়), গণপা (গণেশ), বিধি (ব্রহ্মা), ক্ষ্বা (পৃথিবী), অব্ধি (সমুদ্র), ভাগীরথী (গঙ্গা), শিখি (অগ্নি), কামদেব (প্রদ্যুম্ন) ও হিমাদ্রি (হিমালয় পর্ব্বত)। হর, উমা, হরি, এই তিন দেবদেবী নিত্য পূজিত হন। কিন্তু আষাঢ় মাসের শুক্লাষ্টমীতে একত্রে পূজিত হন চৌদ্দ দেবতা। ৭দিন ব্যাপী চলে এই পূজা ও জাতি উপজাতির এই মহান মিলন মেলা।
ইংরেজি: Kharchi) বা খার্চি পূজা বা খার্চি মেলা ও উৎসব হল চৌদ্দ দেবতার পূজা। প্রাথমিক ভাবে এটা ত্রিপুরীদের উৎসব হলেও বর্তমানে সব ধর্মের মানুষ এতে সমান ভাবে অংশগ্রহন করে। এটি সাধারণত ইংরেজী মাসের জুলাই-অগাষ্ট এর দিকে হয়ে থাকে। খার্চি শব্দের আক্ষরিক অর্থ হল, খার ও চি। খার কথার অর্থ হল পাপ এবং চি কথার অর্থ হল পরিষ্কার বা মোচন করা। এক কথায় পাপ মোচন করা। ৩০০০ বছর আগে এই পূজার প্রচলন হয়েছিল এবং বর্তমানেও চলছে।] এই পূজা মুলত ত্রিপুরার রাজ পরিবার এবং ত্রিপুরী রাজ চন্তাই দের পৃষ্ঠপোষকতায় চলে আসছে। চন্তাই কথার অর্থ হচ্ছে পূজারী বা পুরোহিত।রাজ চন্তাইরা বংশ পরম্পরায় নির্বাচিত হয়ে আসে।
