Description
English: Here are two photos depicting assassination bullet damage to Theodore Roosevelt's speech manuscript and steel eyeglass case. These two photos were taken by Richard W. Allen, at the US National Park Service's Roosevelt Birthplace on 28 E. 20th Street, New York, NY in July 2007.

These photos are of the genuine artifacts and were captured by me through the glass case at the site. I enhanced the contrast and sharpness. And I grouped them into one collage image using Photoshop. Visitors to this public National Park Service site can also see the bullet-damaged shirt TR was wearing.

Incidentally, the name on the eyeglass case is that of an optician firm, E.B. Meyrowitz. These artifacts were property of the U.S. Department of Interior when photographed.

Ces deux photos ont été prises par Richard W. Allen, au lieu de naissance de Roosevelt du US National Park Service, au 28 E. 20th Street, New York, NY, en juillet 2007.

Ces photos représentent des artefacts authentiques et ont été prises par moi à travers la vitrine du site. J'ai amélioré le contraste et la netteté, et je les ai regroupées en une seule image de collage à l'aide de Photoshop. Les visiteurs de ce site public du National Park Service peuvent également voir la chemise endommagée par balle que portait T.R.

Par ailleurs, le nom sur l’étui à lunettes est celui d’une entreprise d’opticien, E.B. Meyrowitz. Ces objets appartenaient au département américain de l’Intérieur lorsqu’ils ont été photographiés.
