Cold War era Soviet Main Battle Tank Total T-72 production:- 25,000+ Main Armament:- 125mm 2A46M smoothbore gun The T-72 family first entered production in 1971 and with over 25,000 built it is the most produced post-war tank. They have served with 40 countries and taken part in many conflicts. The T-72M was a simplified export variant similar to the upgraded T-72A. This running example is seen in the Kuwait Arena during TankFest 2019 The Tank Museum, Bovington Camp, Dorset, UK.
