Sumito Estevez, es un importante Chef de cocina Venezolano, uno de los grandes innovadores de la cocina actual en este país, es graduado en el área de física en la universidad de los Andes, hijo de un Venezolano y una Indú. Una vez concluídos sus estudios universitarios, se dedica a estudiar el arte culinario, desde donde después de transitar varias cocinas tanto nacionales, como internacionales, logra convertirse en uno de los cocineros más reconocidos no sólo en Venezuela, si no tambien, en países como Colombia, Perú, Mexico y Argentina, y es en este último donde ha conducido importantes programas de tv, através de un canal local con proyección en la región por operadoras de cable local. Además de su carrera como Chef profesional, tambien ha incursionado en la educación de esta especialidad, formando junto a su amigo y colega Héctor Romero; un importante centro de educacíon gatronómica en Caracas, de esta prestigiosa escuela egresan cocineros profesionales, que luego de haber cursado estudios teóricos y prácticos, ingresan al campo de trabajo, llevando al plano laboral todo lo aprendido previamente, y esto há permitido un importante desarrollo, en diversos restaurantes caraqueños y de otras regiones de nuestra tierra.
