Burke's Genealogical and Heraldic History of the Landed Gentry, 15th Edition, ed. Pirie-Gordon, H., London, 1937, p.255 "Brooke of Sarawak": Or, a cross per pale sable and gules bearing in the first quarter an estoile azure. The former national flag of Sarawak is a variant of the Brooke arms. Similar arms borne by Viscount Alanbrooke & Viscount Brookeborough, etc.
The upper part of a memorial window at St Leonard's Church, Sheepstor, Devon, England showing Nepenthes rajah. The window is a memorial to those from Sarawak who died in World War II. The three Brooke rajahs are buried in the churchyard. Thc church guide describes the plant as "a typical native pitcher plant - Naperthes Rajah" [sic].Čeština: Skleněná vitráž s láčkovkami v kostele sv. Leonarda v Devonu jako památník obětí druhé světové války v Sarawaku. Dle zdejší církve se jedná o N. rajah, ačkoli připomíná N. edwardisiana
